Distance Learning Course of 6 Sessions
Physiological science takes a wide view of the body. It deals with the way in which collections of cells are organised to form organs such as the heart and liver, and the way in which these organs work together in the body. Even more importantly, physiology emphasises the interaction between these systems, and the way that their activities are adjusted to keep the body functioning as well as possible. A basic understanding of physiology is necessary for anyone working in a medical field, as it allows the student to understand how to help people to make the most of their bodies� natural physiology enables us to understand what happens when imbalance occurs and how health care aims to restore balance.

With this course you will have unlimited access to your own personal tutor who specialises in their field of study. It is your personal tutor's role to ensure that you receive constructive feedback and to deal with any queries you may have. You are more than welcome to telephone, fax or email your personal tutor.

Assessment Method
After each lesson there will be a question paper, which needs to be completed and submitted to your personal tutor for marking.
